i’m 13, slightly nervous for summer. my new year’s resolution was to eat healthy so i’ve been limiting desserts and having better portions. as of two weeks ago, i’ve started to play tennis every day for at least 30 min after school. a round or two on the ball machine and then serves. is this the kind of exercise that will, despite sounding like an obsessively bodyconscious teenybopper, burn the last bit of fat and produce a flat-ish stomach?

A tennis player places a 58 kg ball machine on a frictionless surface, as shown below. The machine fires a 0.058 kg tennis ball horizontally with a velocity of 31.4 m/s toward the north. What is the final velocity of the machine?
